In summary, I picked the ceiling fan thinking it was one of the most mundane things around me. I researched it, and found out that the same man that invented the motor for the sewing machine, invented the motor for the ceiling fan. My Parsons Challenge tracks my thought process from originally seeing the ceiling fan as something boring and ordinary, to connecting it with something that is fascinating to me, and then finally seeing it as an interesting source for inspiration.
